How you can find us:
The Appelhof is situated in the Mürztal, about
120 km from both Graz and Vienna:
From Vienna:
1) Highway A2 heading south – at the Seebenstein junction
stay to the right in the direction of Semmering – Semmering
Expressway S6 – exit Mürzzuschlag (it already says Mürzsteg)
– then another 20 km on the federal road B23 (in the direction
of Neuberg/Mariazell).
2) Highway A1 heading west – Exit St. Pölten Süd
(South) – then federal road B20 until Freiland – turn
left onto the B21 until Terz – turn left onto the B23 over
the Lahnsattel to Mürzsteg.
From Graz:
Pyhrn highway A9 – at the Deutschfeistritz junction stay to
the right in the direction of Bruck/Mur – E93 until the Bruck/Mur
junction – stay to the right in the direction of Kapfenberg
– Semmering Expressway S6 until Mürzzuschlag West –
then another 20 km on the federal road B23 (in the direction of
Neuberg/Mariazell).
Public Transportation:
From Vienna’s South Train Station (Wien Südbahnhof),
trains leave every hour in the direction of Mürzzuschlag. From
Graz’s Main Train Station (Graz Hauptbahnhof),
you can reach Mürzzuschlag in ca. 1 hour.
The Postbus does not travel regularly to Mürzsteg (Information
at www.busbahnbim.at).
