If, after a couple of days at the Appelhof, you would like to explore the surroundings, you can choose from many well-marked hiking and walking trails.

Popular destinations are:

	Cyclists and mountain bikers also get their money’s worth: The Appelhof is situated directly along the Alpentour, the world’s longest marked mountain bike trail, and also along the Romantiktour: Also the cycle-path to Neuberg (about 8 kilometres) is ideal for a short biking trip.
Since last summer, adults and teenagers have been able to learn the trendy sport of Nordic walking under professional instruction. We will teach you the basics and accompany you into our beautiful natural landscape. In addition, our varied sports programme includes running. Of course, all-inclusive! By the way: Mountain buggies (also for twins!) and bicycles with child-carrier seats are offered for rental directly at the Appelhof.
