When the Appelhof is covered with thick snow and is ready for all kinds of winter sports, a true feeling of the pleasure of snow arises:

• when ice-skating* and curling right in front of the house • when sledging* on the sledge slope directly on the grounds • when skiing and snowboarding in the Ski Resort Niederalpl (located only 8 km away, ski bus transfer included during the Christmas holidays and the semester breaks in Vienna and in Styria) • on the cross-country course* behind the house • in Smiley’s Diaper Ski School
	• with Degi`s Adventure School (tubing, building an igloo, snow-shoe hiking tour, etc.)

From now on a large winter sports area right on the Appelhof premises is available to young and old skiers: Use of the lifts is free of charge!!
